Angamardhana – a yogic fitness

Angamardhana is a series of 31 dynamic processes to invigorate the body and reach peak physical fitness.  Regular practice of Angamardhana revitalizes the body in many ways:

▪ Strengthens the spine, skeletal systems, and muscular system
▪ Building physical strength, fitness and tenacity
▪ Takes years off the body, bringing a sense of lightness and freedom
▪ Prepares the body for Hatha yoga

This program is open to participants age 12+ regardless of experience with yoga.
However, it is not suitable for pregnant lady or person with active hernia.
Young adult is welcome to join the sessions but make sure that you can understand English well.

Session 2: Saturday, 4 May 2019, 17:30 – 21:00 (part 2/3)

Bhuta Shuddhi – cleansing the 5 elements

The Bhuta Shuddhi process offered here provides a unique opportunity for everyone to benefit from this esoteric yogic science, which otherwise requires intense sadhana (spiritual practices).

Simple yet powerful Bhuta Shuddhi process allows one to cleanse the body and prepare for more powerful sadhanas:

▪ Keeps the system in harmony and balance
▪ Prepares the system to handle powerful states of energy
▪ Enhances the capabilities of the physical body, mind and energy
▪ Creates the basis to gain complete mastery over the human system

Yogasanas review & correction
May 5 @ 15:00 – 18:00

During the Yogasanas review and correction session, we will go through the fundamentals of the postures.  Participants will receive detailed individual corrections.  Further more, we will learn how to do the practice along with the subtle body.

You must have already learned the practice in order to attend the review session.

Sadhana Day – Guided practices

This is a special day to come together, with like minded people, in a beautiful setting, to intensify your spiritual practices.

Eye Care & Beautify Kriya (Shanmukhi Mudra)

Note: attending both sessions is mandatory.

This special set of practices is designed for eye care and vision improvement. It is highly recommended for those with Myopia and Hypermetropia. It has overall benefits including relaxing and strengthening the muscles around the visual faculty.

In addition to this, you will also learn shanmukhi mudra which can brighten the eyes and faces and improve the aura in the facial region.  Shanmukhi mudra can rejuvenate different parts of the face, including helping with ailments related to nose, ears and eyes and help to relief vertigo and tinnitus.

This module is suitable for 14 years and above.

Jala Neti & Bhastrika Kriya

Jala Neti is a process of cleansing the nasal passages with salt water. This allows breathing to become free so that air can enter the lungs unimpeded by mucus and dirt which easily builds up during the day.

Benefits of Jala Neti:

Yogasanas (Advanced)

For those who have completed the beginner Yogasanas sequence, you can register for Yogasanas Advanced – an opportunity to learn additional asanas to deepen your practice.

You will be introduced to :

  • Sarvangasana (shoulder stand),
  • Spinal Twists
  • Mandukasana (frog posture)
  • Mayurasana (peacock posture for gents only)

These postures bring stability and balance to the system and are used to elevate one’s consciousness.
